Most
children typically celebrate the holiday season with limited sleep and sugary
treats. Although exciting, the cold temperatures can take a toll not only on
the health of children, but also on their skin.

Massage your baby’s scalp with mineral oil to avoid flack and dry skin.
Keratosis Pilaris: Characterized
by severe dryness of skin leading to inflammation, parents are advised to use
emollients and topical exfoliants and consult a seasoned pediatrician if
required.
Eczema:
This leads to dry, red and itchy skin. Babies having Eczema should be given a
bath for 10 minutes with a mild and fragrance free cleanser, followed by generous
application of a moisturizer.
Acne:
Children with acne are
advised to wash their face with luke warm water twice a day and should apply
topical prescription medications to unclog pores.
