Cure Stretch Marks in a Natural Way

Stretch marks are no doubt one of the ugliest skin conditions in women. Though treatments like dermarolling are highly effective on stretch marks, there are some natural remedies you can try at home.

  • Water
Continuous hydration of the body is the best way to correct stretch marks. When properly hydrated, the skin is able to reinstate elasticity by detoxifying skin pores. With improved elasticity of the skin, stretch marks fade away and skin firms up. Avoid caffeinated drinks and increase your water intake to maintain elasticity.

  • Potato Juice
Potato juice is highly rich in essential nutrients including vitamins and minerals that boost up the restoration of skin cells. You can cut a fresh potato and rub its halves smoothly on your stretch marks in such a manner that the juice can fully cover them. Let the juice dry for about half an hour before you wash it using lukewarm water.

  • Olive Oil
Olive oil contains lots of antioxidants and essential nutrients that combat almost all skin conditions including stretch marks. You simply need to massage the affected area with lukewarm olive oil so that your blood circulation improves and the skin can restore elasticity.

  • Sugar
Another tested method is to use natural white sugar as an exfoliating agent. Blend together sugar, lemon juice and almond oil and apply the mix on your stretch marks. Massage the affected skin with the mix regularly and stretch marks will fade away with time.
